Absolutely fantastic analysis, Mark! Exactly what I was hoping for. Great breakdown and can't wait for more. Specific to Stafford, I was impressed to see his pocky mobility. I like the fact that he's comfortable with throwing at different angles and on the move with little impact on accuracy. My only real concern in justifying significant capital to acquire him now is his health. He's proven to be a gamer who almost always suits up but he's had his fair share of time on the weekly injury reports. Hoping the market for him actually isn't at strong as it initially seems to be. My gut says that Washington already has a value/price assigned to him and won't get into a bidding war. So, will be no surprise if they don't win out but he clearly seems worth serious exploration.
A way to defeat a QB like that, and it worked against Manning in one of the Super Bowls, is to come up with 2 entirely different defensive game plans, and switch from one to the other at halftime. That way you can negate the mid-game adjustments. OTOH you need to really work your defense hard. But I think it's a worthwhile thing to try against a veteran QB like that.
Thanks for posting. Does he fit well with WFT offense? Could be roster influenced, but it seemed that Washington did not do much vertically. Also, Stafford does not roll out much and I did not see RPO. I think he is worth a 1st and 3rd. Add a WR and LB in FA and the team is on the way.
I wish I had found this closer to when it was posted but you cannot deny just how on the mark so much of what he said about Stafford was proven his first year in LA. And then some. On the money man. If it wasn't dated you wouldn't be thought too crazy to assume this was written early 2022 as a review of the 21-22 season.

Excellent content per usual

Brilliant analysis, can't get this knowledge anywhere else in sports reporting.
