Allen gets to Brady so fast for the big play to Evans in the WC game - Brady just gets it out quicker - Allen could not have done much more. Does seem like Sweat and Payne benefit from the double teaming and game planning teams do around Young and Allen.
Great read, Mark. I think it's easy to overlook how important pressure from the interior D-Line is for an entire defense's success. Allen has been one of my favorite guys to watch and is a phenomenal leader in the locker room. Extending him should be a priority for the WFT!
I have always liked reading Mark Bullock's columns about football. I lost track of him when he left the Washington Post (so did I). It is nice to see him back. Please keep it up.
He is not flashy......Just a blue collar player who shows up every week. The effort is always there.

I couldn’t believe the throw from Brady on that play. Allen couldn’t have won any quicker and Brady still threw a perfect ball down the field to Evans
