Nothing specifically. I’m laser focused on Chase young and his ability to put the team over the top. Really appreciate your ability to explain the nuances of each play. Thanks again.
I think Young only played 4 snaps before leaving the game with a minor injury. So probably not enough for a full post on him, but when I look at the defense I’ll see if there is anything of note from those 4 plays and perhaps tweet a few clips!
Great breakdown as always, Mark. Most football fans dont understand that it typically takes a year to fully grasp a new offense. It's like learning a foreign language. For Howell to show promise of his mental processing this early is VERY encouraging. It should get better and better as the season progresses.
It's also a big credit to Eric Bieniemy and his offensive staff to have gotten Howell and the offense to this point. Now it is important to keep our feet on the ground. It was a solid performance for about 20 snaps, which is about a third of a real game. The Browns also held some key players out of the game. So that context is important to remember so we don't get carried away. But it certainly was a promising start for Howell. Hopefully it will continue.
Great write up. Very good performance from Howell- though it looks like he had a couple of options to go deep to Terry with single coverage. I hope when they count he takes those shots. I look forward to the breakdown on the o-line. I would also like to see detail on Quan Martin.
Great article Mark and it gives me some encouragement for the new season ahead, although I’m always optimistic at this point of the season. I’d be interested to read more on how you think they’ll use Gibson going forward.
Nice. Thanks. So happy for football to be back.
It’s so good to have new footage to watch and breakdown! Is there anyone in particular you’d like to see me write about next?

Thx Mark. Again I really appreciate you and your commentary!
Chris Paul
Working on a post on him and Cosmi right now
How bad was the O Line?
Lots of negative comments on other sites. Valid?
Thanks

Studying OL now, specifically Cosmi and Paul. Will have a post on them/the OL in the coming days!
Hi Mark, great write up, thanks. I agree that it’s very encouraging for Howell to show this good a grasp of the offense.
I’d be interested in your thoughts on the first and second team OL after you’ve had a chance to take a closer look at them.
Post on Cosmi and Paul is in the works as we speak!
