Breaking down the performance of Washington’s offensive line against the Falcons
Reviewing how Washington’s offensive line has performed both individually and as a unit.
One of the big positives for Washington so far this season has been the play of its offensive line. There has been a lot of turnover up front with three new starting pieces from the group that finished last season. Charles Leno was signed to start at left tackle and the team traded for Ereck Flowers to take over at left guard. Chase Roullier and Brandon Scherff retained their spots at center and right guard respectively, while second-round pick Sam Cosmi took over at right tackle.
Despite the new faces, the unit has performed well, generating movement in the run game while providing solid pass protection to go along with it. Let’s take a closer look at how the offensive line has performed, starting with the rookie.
