Commanders vs Cowboys game thread

It’s game day, which means time for another game thread! Commanders are fresh off an extended break after playing Thursday night 10 days ago. Should have hopefully helped heal up a few beat up bodies. Big chance to break the losing streak against a Cowboys side that has been struggling and is now extremely banged up. Dak Prescott was on injured reserve before this game, but both starting guards Zack Martin and Tyler Smith are inactive, along with starting corner Trevon Diggs. Receiver Brandon Cooks wasn’t activated off IR so he misses out too. On paper, the Commanders should win this one and win it comfortably, but games aren’t played on paper.

Forbes is the surprise among the inactives this week. He’s a healthy scratch as far as I can tell, haven’t heard anything about him being injured. We’ll have to wait at least one more week to see Lattimore make his Commanders debut, so…
